Workshop on the
Open Stage
A workshop from Theaterjahr to set the mood for the Open Stage:
sex positivity, consent and representation of sex on stage and in film
Let's talk about sex, baby!
What does sex mean to you personally? Do you find it difficult to ask for consensus?
What about consensus in pornography? How do I discover my own lust? What does "sex positivity" mean anyway? In our workshop on 11 December we will try to create an atmosphere where everyone can talk openly about sex, pleasure and consensus and feel comfortable doing so. Experts and sex workers will be invited to give us further insights into this big world. The workshop does not require any previous knowledge or experience and is aimed at young people aged 16 and over.
Every second Saturday of the month, five members of the Schauspielhaus Zürich (Theatre Year) organise the Open Stage, a series of events that offers all young people the opportunity to try out their skills on stage in 10-minute contributions. Every two months we offer a workshop before the Open Stage. There we discuss topics that move us and that we consider to be socially relevant. The workshop is also an introduction to the Open Stage and can be reflected in its content. In Decem- ber, we will focus on the topic of “sex positivity, consent and the representation of sex on stage and in film”.
No previous knowledge or experience is required for the workshop and it is aimed at young people aged 16 and over.
