Three sisters live in the Russian provinces. Moscow, their native city, is far away, but their dream of another life has remained. Timofey Kulyabin stages this classic play in Russian sign language, thus revealing the piece from a completely new perspective. The director first introduced himself to Zurich audiences this season with a new interpretation of Ibsen’s „A Doll’s House.“
