Otto Kosok

Otto Kosok was born in Wuppertal, Germany in 1999 and moved to Whadjuk Nyoongar Country (Perth, Australia) when he was six. At 14, he was accepted into the STEPS Contemporary Dance Company, a youth ensemble for contemporary dance. He got his first professional job at 17, as an actor and dancer in TheFARM (QLD). The following year he started his three-year dance training at the Zealand School of Dance.
During and since his time at the dance school, he has been active in the independent performance scene in New Zealand and Australia. As an actor, dancer, performer and clown, he has worked with numerous directors and choreographers as well as staging and choreographing his own pieces. Otto Kosok has been back in Europe since November 2022. He is also a passionate DJ (techno, house, DnB, everything that makes oonz oonz) and always looks forward to winter when he can finally skate again.
