Liliana Benini

Liliana Benini was born in Milan in 1991. She graduated in 2015 from the Scuola del Teatro Stabile in Turin directed by Valter Malosti. In the same year she met Christoph Marthaler at the Venice Biennale, with whom she then worked in "Lulu" at the Staatsoper Hamburg and in "Universe, Incomplete" at the Ruhrtriennale of 2018. She studies (among the others, with Antonio Latella and Cristina Pezzoli) and works as actress/performer steadily and mainly in Italy, in the most varied contexts - whether it's a film (among others, she worked with Peter Greenaway), a show for children, to help out with the scenography or with the text, to be in a big theater or in an alternative space, to be the main character or to be a supporting role -  she doesn't really take care: the important for her is to be part of a beautiful artwork. Or at least, of a good product.
