Pavel Ignatiev

Pavel Ignatiev received classical training as a pianist before discovering his love of improvisation and vocation as a jazz musician at a music festival in Rotterdam in 2006. His first solo album was released in 2007. In addition to numerous jazz standards, which he interprets together with Katiko Purtseladze since 2010, he is particularly interested in visual music, which is also the basis of his collaboration with poets and authors of silent films.
