Kenza Nessaf

Kenza Nessaf, who grew up in Winterthur, is a director. She lives and works in Zurich. She is interested in the HOW, which is constantly being renegotiated. She searches for fleeting moments in which the how is answered for the here and now in order to discover the we, which has to renegotiate itself again in the next moment.

She has a long-standing collaboration with Theater Neumarkt. She made her directorial debut there in 2022 with the play development "Frauengold - (Un)Doing Silence" and developed the play "Wir Schulden Euch Gar Nichts!" with young people in the same season. In addition to her directing studies at the ZHdK, she continues to realize theater projects and develops and directs theater formats for schools at Theater Neumarkt, for example.

At Schauspielhaus Zürich, she runs Club 2 together with Alireza Bayram.
